Round 1

Friends are secondary:

Many people across me consider friends as Primary , that they are like family . Some even Think friends are more than their blood relations[ family,siblings,cousins...] . But I have strong objection to this. Friends can be a boon, but most friendships are not boon , It can turn into curse . I don't say friendship is curse , but keeping friends as primary is a 100% curse. friends are the members who know about you more , it is a double edged sword , they can misuse this power , they know your weakness and strongness. Some curse friends are cunning spider , they usually false praise you , to gain something from you. I hereby say keeping friends in secondary position is better in always .

Friends are not secondary.

Saying that they are is an absolute.

Friends are whatever they are to different people.

Friends to some are actually family.

Really that cut and dry.

I think you at least need some context. Secondary to what? Food? Family? Good health?

I hold friends pretty high. . .
Which is also why I try to avoid making them.
There 'are situations where I might put friends first, would theoretically risk life or wealth for.
Depends on a person's definition of friend and idea of duty.
. . . Even friendly acquaintances though, there are times I'm willing to put them first.
Though in the back of my head, there's always an analytic arguing all a selves actions are selfish for one reason or another. But that's too 'much pedantic semantics.

Rohith Round 1
Claims most friendships are not a boon, and have potential to turn into a curse.
That so called friends are often false, and because they know much of you, they can more easily harm you.

Leaning Thoughts,
I think there's truth in what Rohith says, friendships are often transactional. One is getting something, or paying an old duty. But that is 'all social relationships, even family.
Family too can betray, often knows more weaknesses about you than friends,
Yet, when it 'works, family is invaluable in survival.
Even dysfunctional, invaluable in survival, because family is chosen first above outsiders.
. . . Course in the 'worst families, outsiders will be chosen above you.
(Shrug) Of family and friends, very context dependent.
. . . But in 'general, family and friends are close knit, are agreements and duty, help each other. Valuable to make, to lean on, to network.

Mal Round 4
Claims friends are not secondary, argues that is an absolute statement.
Argues friends are subjective.

Leaning Thoughts,
Everything in life is subjective, but probables are spoken of, norms and expectations of definitions.

I think Pro had better arguments, more expansive on the subject than Con.
Spoke of the danger of accepting friends.
One can say 'anything is subjective.
Still, I don't think Pros arguments are better to the degree I'd vote for Pro.
Both sides forfeited so many rounds, sure Con was 'around, but I'd really prefer to have seen even one more round of argument from Con.
