I'm taking both.
On the Trinity: I'm arguing it is biblically grounded, not as a word appearing in scripture, but as a doctrine that emerges necessarily from the textual claims scripture makes about the nature of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The burden is on Con to show the doctrine contradicts scripture, not merely that the term is absent.
On Jesus and homosexuality: I'm arguing that Jesus Christ made no statement of disapproval, and that his recorded teachings on love, judgment, and human dignity are more consistent with acceptance than condemnation. Silence from a figure who spoke directly about divorce, adultery, and religious hypocrisy is not neutral, it's conspicuous.
My impression of the topic: it's a compound resolution designed to test whether a Pro debater can hold two theologically distinct positions simultaneously. I can. Make your case.

I find no scripture that says "three persons in the godhead" or "God is three persons".
So I have no burden of proving something that is not there I'm saying is there because I don't say it's there.
If you do, give us book, chapter and verse to back up what you're saying.
I say God is one. I got Deuteronomy 6 that says what I say.
Likewise with homosexuality, I have no scripture of Jesus approving of homosexuality.
I got bible that teaches Christ acknowledging what he did, God, what he did making male and female.
Anything other than that and the use of that would violate Romans 1 I believe an apostle of Christ was teaching in that chapter and following him would be following Christ.
So I'm going to turn it over to you because you got your work cut out for ya.
