Debate framework should focus on objective rights and wants of humans, equality of all humans which cannot be taken away merely because person is born in some wrong place.
USA is most powerful country ever, with GDP larger than entire Europe, also a country with most migrants on Earth.
that is no coincidence. USA was built by migrants.
Property rights of humans
Property rights mean that if someone wants to sell his property, land or house, to migrants,
they can.
to deny that would be to violate property choices, by not allowing trade in specific cases.
Denying property choices for arbitrary reasons = all property choices can be denied for
arbitrary reasons
Freedom of movement
Movement is universal right.
Denying ability of movement for arbitrary reasons = all movement can be denied for arbitrary reasons.
Body autonomy
Body autonomy can be violated for arbitrary reasons = all body autonomy can be violated
for arbitrary reasons.
Not letting migrants in = results in violation of their body autonomy
Wants and wealth
US population itself wants more wealth. that comes with technological advancement, which
migrants are a significant part of.
Migrants bring in more money.
this increases demand for US dollars and strengthens US dollar as a currency, as well
as enabling businesses to have more customers, thus businesses can better develop.
Same with investments.
Increase of knowledge
there is a saying: two heads are smarter than one.
Migrants bring in new knowledge, knowledge which could be crucial for development.
technological advancement
Progress of a country is dependent on its technological advancement. Its ability to improve lives
depends on technological advancement which improves lives.
A lot of technological advancement depends on migrants.
"the researchers looked at the output of nearly 880,000 Americans who patented inventions between 1990 and 2016. They found that immigrants made an outsize contribution to innovation in the U.S. While they comprised 16% of inventors, immigrants were behind 23% of the patents issued over these years."

In Canada:
"Immigrants represent 26% of the national workforce but account for 35% of computer programmers, 43% of engineers and 57% of all chemists."
In USA:
"Two factors explain about 30 percent of the patenting gap between immigrants and natives. First, immigrants disproportionately live in innovation hubs, counties that have high rates of patent productivity. Second, immigrants tend to patent in sectors that are changing rapidly. They generate more than 25 percent of innovative output in the computer, communications, electronics, and medical fields, but just 15 percent in older technologies such as metalworking, transportation, and engines. The researchers suggest this indicates that immigrants are more prepared than natives to make sectoral choices that improve their innovative output."

Military superiority
Military itself depends on technological advancement, as well as ability of military
to keep its number of troops or increase it.
Birth rates
US birth rates have been declining, and local population on its own cant keep its own numbers.
the solution for this is simply letting migrants in to replace numbers which lack.
Economy advancement, increase of productivity
Migrants are crucial for productivity. More people = Greater production power.
More people likewise means = Greater amount of ideas related to technology, businesses
Right of choice
to deny someone right of choice goes against objective morality.
If choices can be denied for subjective reasons = all choices can be denied for subjective reasons,
including ability to deny choices (self contradictive justification)
Choice of someone to move to USA is no different than choice of someone who is born in USA
to stay in USA.
Because choices cannot be denied for subjective reasons, there must be an actual justification,
objective justification to deny choice of people to move to USA.
Safety from harm
Harm justified for subjective reasons = All harm can be justified, thus harm against one
doing harm becomes justified by symmetry, making any arbitrary justification for harm
turn against the one doing it
Harm done to people in some countries is very severe. to deny them of choice to move to USA,
the result of that would be more harm to them. Such harm cannot be justified for subjective reasons.
" For the following decades, the main driving factors included the lack of job opportunities, as well as the risk caused by violence and crime."

Equality of humans
If humans can be made not equal for subjective reasons = all humans can be made not equal
Migrants and Americans who arent migrants have same human rights. to deny rights of one
merely for being born somewhere else is an arbitrary justification, because
denying people rights based on place of birth is arbitrary, and no person is born in same place,
so ability to deny rights based on place is an arbitrary justification which can extend
to all places. Suppose that someone said "people born in New York have more rights
than people born in other states".
Why would equality be diminished for something person didnt even choose, such as to be born in a wrong place?
Debating principle
When person steps into the debate, he already acknowledges principles, such as:
Non-agression, body autonomy, freedom of speech, freedom of movement.
If in debate, a debater violated another debater, he would be preventing him from debating,
and thus violating the very principle which debate stands on.
But same applies outside of debate. Because person being violated outside of debate
would likewise disable person from debating in future.
thus, debate act itself already assumes principles necessary to make argument at all.
Should opponent argue that migrants should be denied of ability to migrate, he is at same
time violating the debating principle which his own argument needs in order to even be made.
If migrant gets harmed or killed because he was denied of migration, that would effectively
make that migrant unable to debate or present his arguments, thus a debating principle
would be violated.
Counters
Migrants taking away jobs
Americans also by same logic take away jobs from other Americans. this isnt ground
for losing citizenship.
"Immigrants own nearly a fifth of all employer companies and almost a quarter of nonemployer businesses — higher than their percentages of the US population or the workforce generally."
https://usafacts.org/articles/how-many-us-businesses-are-owned-by-immigrants/
Migrants doing crime
We dont judge whole population for crimes committed by few. Otherwise, American
population itself would lose citizenship.
Migrants reducing wages
Same standard applies to Americans. More born Americans = more competition for jobs = lower wages.
this isnt ground for losing citizenship.
Migrants increase productivity.
More workers means more productivity, and with more productivity, cheaper prices.
Migrants take away houses
Same could be said of Americans who live in USA. However, houses are obtained by trade.
We cannot say someone doesnt have right to buy house just because he was born at wrong place.
"Immigrant work totaled 26.3% of the entire construction workforce in 2024, a record high. The number is even higher among construction trades as immigrants accounted for one-third of that workforce."
"Immigration contributes positively to economic growth by expanding the labor force, increasing consumer demand, and supporting overall GDP growth.
Empirical evidence indicates that immigrants have historically contributed more in tax revenue than they receive in public benefits, creating a substantial fiscal surplus for the U.S. government over time.
Immigration plays a critical role in mitigating the economic effects of an aging population by increasing the share of working-age individuals who support social programs such as Social Security and Medicare."
https://www.brookings.edu/articles/the-impact-of-immigrants-on-the-us-economy/
"social inclusion of refugees and other vulnerable immigrants has pay-offs for economic and social outcomes as well. These benefits accrue to both the immigrants themselves as well as their broader communities. For example, one study exploited a natural experiment created by a California policy allowing undocumented immigrants to obtain driver's licenses, finding that it improved traffic safety, specifically by reducing the number of hit-and-run accidents. Another study in several major US cities found that supporting naturalization of eligible immigrants not only increased their earnings and homeownership rates but also increased tax revenues in their cities of residence and, in most cases, decreased the overall cost of public benefits.6 This report conducted by the Urban Institute was sponsored by the Office of Immigrant Affairs in New York City, which is among the cities most affected by the current influx of asylum seekers, and where political debates are raging about how far to go in accommodating these newcomers."

the topic does not state what amount of increase in migrants is supposed to happen. So it
can be increase by merely 1 migrant.
My position is that an increase should be in whatever amount benefits body autonomy
and choices of people the most. We cant disregard choices and autonomy of migrants
without violating equality of all people.
