"Schools should mandate a period of absolute inactivity for students during the school day."

Yes. I believe this is a question but formatted as a statement.

As mentioned in the comments, there's a pause of classroom teaching so that puts a pause in learning. There's a pause in classroom activity with what is called recess.

There's a pause in classroom activity with what is called lunch. The lunch period.

There's a pause in activity during an evacuation drill.

There's a pause in activity during disciplinary proceedings.

Pause in activity is universally mandated due to cause and effect.

So what should be an effect is based on cause.

Twenty hours goes quick. I imagine there's not really much to this topic.

I yield.

Schools already have time of inactivity. Usually pause between classes. But what do you mean by inactivity, just sit and do nothing like meditation?
