Should schools allow lethal or non-lethal weapons for future school shooting

"If the school won't allow a real gun why can't they use a byrna gun which is a non-lethal pistol, what is stopping us from doing that."

Whatever ramifications the weapon has is prohibited to not risk them occuring in a pupil occupied environment.

Legally this is the case.

This is a different example that doesn't necessarily tie to legalities in the same way but cell phones are prohibited to not risk the ramifications of those things in a pupil occupied environment.

We can go down the list but the idea is, in a educational institution, many of these things such as these are inappropriate.

In terms of security, there's security personnel, there's even metal detectors in which I've experienced and the school grounds maintained relatively safe.

Amid all the school massacres, in an environment where immature decision making occurs mixed with having access to weapons, in answer to your question, this is the blow of what is stopping integrating these things.
