In recent years there has been a big push to end our twice yearly clock changes. One proposal, the sunshine proteciton act, would impliment permanent daylight saving time year round.

In this debate I will argue that the United States should impliment permanent standard time.

Burden of Proof: Shared

I will argue that the US should switch to a permanent standard time system. My opponent will argue to either keep the status quo, switch to permanent daylight saving time, or some other counter proposal.
