Should the death penalty be used in the US how it is currently enforced?

The death penalty is simply flawed and with our current understanding of human criminal psychology, should not be used, there will always be a person falsely excecuted for a crime they simply didnt commit, or for a crime that was misrepresented in their sentencing.
