New artwork I just completed in Adobe Illustrator, titled "My peace I give unto you."

Done via a Wacom sketch pad / stylus on my iMac.

The Jesus figure is a modification of artwork previously done for a bookcover of a non-fiction I am

still writing, working title is "be ye therefore perfect." The woman is a black female American model whose name I do not know, but greatly changed her hairstyle to be more traditional African with beads and highlights mimicking the background sun, which is also reflected in Christ's robe.

Would Jesus have given up his celibacy for her?

Who says Jesus was celibate? The Bible doesn't mention his marital condition, at all; it is merely assumed because it doesn't say one way or another. Another potential mis-translation by error or be deliberate deception. Both happened. Con teary to popular belief, the Bible is not infallible. What book is, even of holy writ since none I am aware of claim divine authorship.

While no single verse explicitly states Jesus was celibate, Matthew 19:12 is a key passage, where Jesus speaks of "eunuchs who have renounced marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven". This has been widely interpreted to imply His own celibacy, as He advocated for it as a spiritual discipline. Other verses, such as 1 Corinthians 7:8, where Paul advises the unmarried to remain as he is, and Matthew 19:29, where Jesus promises rewards for those who leave family for His sake, are also cited in support of this view.
