Circumcision is a perfect crime. The victim is tied down, can't fight back, has no legal protection, and perpetrator is immune from prosecution.
Tho my parents didn't benefit from circumcising me, because they don't get it. They circumcised me to please some religious people around them. But those religious people weren't the future. I was. So now I hope they enjoy giving me free money while I remain unemployed forever. And they are not going to have grandchildren either cuz I won't reproduce. So yeah, I don't see how they win.

And circumcision complications range from small complications, to severe penis damage, to even death. But I guess 100 babies dying from circumcision in USA every year just isn't bad enough.

The authors present here a case of a 7-day-old boy who had ritual circumcision with a cauter complicated by an entire penile amputation, which was treated with the insertion of a catheter to prevent the closure of the urethra. The patient reported his penis was circumcised with cautery one day later the glans and the entire penis became discolored and necrosis, unfortunately, the entire penis was lost with the overlying skin.
A 12 day old male, term baby with mild glanular hypospadias underwent ritual circumcision after the family had consulted and obtained approval from a pediatric urologist. He presented to emergency department with amputation of the entire glans performed by an experienced religious practitioner using the Mogen clamp technique. The practitioner, who had performed thousands of circumcisions, admitted a momentary lapse of attention and accidently cutting proximal, rather than distal to the Mogen clamp. The excised glans was put on ice during transport. Two hours passed between the amputation and surgical intervention.
In August of 2013, the mother of a three month old Memphis boy brought him to a local clinic to be circumcised. As she waited for the surgery to be completed, she felt that something was not right because her son was screaming in pain. When she inquired about how the surgery was going, doctors reassured her that everything was fine. The surgery, which normally takes between five minutes and half an hour, lasted for three hours. After the surgery was finished, the mother saw that her son’s penis had been severely damaged. She reports that in addition to being disfigured, her son experiences excruciating pain when he urinates.

During 2000-2013, 19 previously healthy neonates were admitted for acute complications after circumcision. Four were admitted for bleeding, with hemophilia identified in two cases and von Willebrand disease in one. Eight boys required emergency surgery, three for severe bleeding. To conclude, the diagnosis of hemorrhagic shock can be difficult in the newborn and requires the estimation of lost blood volume.
