AI...' Yes, new research published in August 2025 shows that ocean acidification caused by climate change is damaging shark teeth, leading to cracks, holes, and structural degradation that can weaken them and increase their vulnerability to breaking. While sharks naturally replace their teeth, the increased energy required to produce new ones in a more acidic environment could pose a significant threat to their ability to hunt, potentially impacting entire marine ecosystems '...

I hope it doesn’t hurt the quality of their fins which make a delicious soup.

Your source's Summary: "Even sharks’ famous tooth-regrowing ability may not save them from ocean acidification. Researchers found that future acidic waters cause shark teeth to corrode, crack, and weaken, threatening their effectiveness as hunting weapons and highlighting hidden dangers for ocean ecosystems."

I see issues:

  1. Researchers found that future acidic waters cause shark teeth to corrode... How do they know future acidic water will corrode teeth? Seems it's a present issue.
  2. What happened to Saint Darwin's survival of the fittest by natural selection? Doesn't work, anymore? For that matter, what happened to it relative to water and clouds? Do they not take advantage of Darwin? Arn't they naturalized to take advantage of selection? What, did A.I. get in their way? Oh yeah, man created A.I., didn't he. All his fault. What, we got tired of waiting for whales to do it? Are they busy chasing their tails around windmill supports? Is that why they're now dizzy and beach themselves all over? Must be our fault, too.

  1. Future adaptations:
  2. While teeth are vulnerable, researchers believe that sharks might adapt by increasing tooth replacement rates and improving their teeth's strengthening and repair mechanisms.
  3. Wider consequences:
  4. This study highlights the vulnerability of highly mineralized structures in marine predators to ocean acidification, which could also affect the shells of other marine organisms.

Huh? Future is based on past and present experiences. Simple enough. Oceans will be acidic tommorrow and likely to increase based on past and present experiences.

Huh? Why makes you think something happen to natual selection? ????? ?

Provide dental care for sharks is one solution.
