Olympics and Superbowl Concurrently

Am I the only person who doesn't follow any sports?

I used to watch soccer as a kid sometimes, but eventually stopped. Was fun tho.

Maybe you will take up bodybuilding as your new sport.

Neither do I watch sport.

I always enjoyed participating, but sitting around wasting time watching other people do it, doesn't appeal to me at all.

American football is such a stupid game...My daughters partner tried to explain it to me once, which led me to conclude that it was even more stupid that I originally thought.

Winter Olympics is just varying people doing varyingly contrived things, generally based around snow and ice...And I have a particular dislike of snow and ice.

And I don't need a televisual sporting incentive to make me buy and consume cookies.

Mints are not a favourite though.

I get that, I liked playing more than watching too, except for football actually. I played organized football for twelve years and never enjoyed it (hated playing it for twelve years? yeah, it was a fucked-up father/son issue created that situation). Amyway, I really don’t watch that much football, but the Superbowl, that is a very big deal, all the hype and excitement, I just love the spectacle they make out of that game.

I feel the same way about Cricket, I played Rugby Football for Philadelphia RFC for six years (loved playing Rugby) and there was a Cricket field next to our pitch, consequently, I have watched a ton of Cricket and had hours and hours of people sitting there trying to explain it to me while I sat there thinking WTF, I will just never understand that game, it strikes me as other worldly or something.

It’s certainly not my favorite Olympics by any stretch, but it’s still Olympics and I just love to see the best in the world come together to compete every four years.

Me neither, but when you are watching the Olympics with the munchies and the doorbell rings and it’s the little girl next door with a big bag of cookies, that’s just awesome.
