Hey everyone. I am a PhD student at the University of Southern Mississippi in Educational Research. I also teach adjunct at night at the University of South Alabama (Well currently lol). I publish research articles in peer review journal and I present at research conferences (I just got news my first peer review article is going to be published, so I am a newer scholar). I hope to have some fun debates and I welcome discussion!

Yeah, SC2 was perfect for that. Anyone that played a solid 500+ games got an insane understanding of mech that carries over to forum mafia very well.

Heyo! Name's TheExperienced, formerly ComputerNerd on DART, and formerly Deadfire27 on DART as well (briefly at the same time!). I got into this type of thing really young; I opened my first account when I was 12 in a decidedly 'debate' time of my life, needing a place to vent my argumentative nature. I found the long, elaborate arguments, citations, lines of reasoning, and pieces of site lore like oromagi's almost untouchable winstreak fascinating and sought to learn more about it. For about 2 years, DART was a big part of my life, and I became endeared to the simultaneously vibrant and concerning personalities that made the site interesting. My 'moment', if it could be considered that, was protesting against airmax1227's continued presidency against the person I'd voted for (RM), which I found immensely enjoyable. Eventually, though, I made it to high school, realized I may actually have to expend some effort, and slowly DART started to fall out of my priorities, leading to my withdrawal for the last 3 years.
I found this site while scanning the archive.org saves of DART, which was an exercise in nostalgia, mostly. As one would hope for, I've changed quite a bit compared to that version of me questioning my entire religion after reading one Bones argument. Outside of just... learning more and refining my skills, I'd like to think I've matured to a level where I can understand that I probably shouldn't have been on DART when I was.
Anyways, enough yapping. I probably won't debate much myself, with how much board exams are stressing me out right now. But hopefully I find time to vote and help keep this place active.; No promises though!
