Sigh of relief or agony of defeat. Old Olympic comment at beginning of ABC coverage of Olympics each year.

A sigh is a way to release energy as emotion and if done correctly may stimulate the longest nerve in our bodies the vagus nerve.

AI...' Sighing deeply—taking two quick, successive inhales through the nose followed by one long, extended exhale through the mouth—is a physiological reset. It stimulates the vagus nerve, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system, bringing your body out of "fight or flight" (stress) and into "rest and digest" mode '..

Since my two total reverse shoulder operations, both times and to this day, I lay in bed with my sciatic, via protruding forward L5 lumber issues for 10 years, and now,

with these shoulders, and have thoughts like. Oh god, what the hell have I done to myself..followed by many sighs with each expiring breath, hoping to stimulate my vagus nerve and give some relief to my anxiety, that, I now days realize is and issue ive had much of my life ---to lesser degree-- and I didnt know the word for this that or other that I felt at times.

And with more neck nerve pain this past two weeks Ive been wearing this good neck brace to bed every night and AM again.

And I still have regular laboring job three days a week. Wife says I need to keep working at least 2 days a week for next two years, before total retirement.

...Arrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......SIgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....OM!!!!!!!!!!!!...............Ha Ha, he he, ho ho, their coming to take me away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......Ha ha!..

It's a Buddhist thing.

And yes, there is always someone worse off.

And my disillusionment will only take a second.

And yes, I will pop on over to DebateArt and see what Shila has had to say.

But, I haven't checked the forum yet...So you never know, there might have been an overnight influx of inspiration.

Also Hatha Yoga, if I recall correctly. Breath is number one in Hatha Yoga above all of the other considerations. At age 18 I bought a book on it and practiced the practices..

AI..' Hatha yoga is a traditional, slower-paced style of yoga that focuses on balancing the body and mind through physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama). Unlike faster, flow-based styles, Hatha involves holding individual poses for several breaths, allowing you to focus on proper alignment and deep stretching.

AI... 'Prana is a Sanskrit word meaning "breath," "life force," or "vital energy". In yoga and Ayurveda, it is the invisible, animating energy that flows through all living beings and the universe, sustaining both physical health and mental clarity.

So you never know, there might have been an overnight influx of inspiration.

Spire = cone like geometry. Ex steeple on top of some buildings

AI.. ' spire is a towering, sharply pointed architectural structure, typically found on top of a roof, tower, or church steeple. It is classically defined by its cone-like or pyramid-like geometry, which smoothly tapers to a narrow point as it ascends toward the sky. '...

In-spir-a-tion is to breath in :-(<<<<<

Expiration is to breath outward :-) <<<<<< out

AI..' Expiration is the medical and physiological term for breathing out (exhalation). '...

Yes, you and I might both benefit from a bit of yoga.

You could try debates I suppose.

They force a person to engage with a topic of your choice.

I've mostly been playing WoW and AOE2 lately,

And just watching YouTube, I occasionally think about talking more, but I don't have anything to say right now.

I suppose I could start posting YouTube videos of me talking about games I've played lately, or books I've read.

But it's easier to not do that.

@SatanLucy

And looks like DART's down again.
