But in striving to achieve his version of normalness he separated himself from everyone else's version of normalness.
Nonetheless, whatever state of assumed normalness humans achieve, it is no more or less a naturally evolved state.
Whether it evolved physiologically, environmentally or sociologically.
So, you can either choose to run with change or you can choose to aggressively oppose change.
Though if something has already changed, then fighting against it seems a tad futile.

Arguably, for a lot of athletes, their best "records" are from practice and not actual competitions. Same can be said about gamers: you don't just see everyone break world records in tournaments all the time unless it is an interactive game (where you fight for wins in LoL), you see them broken in practice.
