Project Mkultra lasted for 20 years, where US government did experiments on humans to see how to create alter personalities, in other words, entirely new people who no longer remember past, and who act according to command.

After being caught in doing this, most of documents regarding project mkultra were destroyed. You can understand why.
However, project Monarch is believed to be a sub-project of Project Mkultra, and it is believed that these projects didnt simply stop after 20 years of research.
Project Monarch is named this way for one specific reason. It creates alter personalities through trauma.
While many rejected this as just another conspiracy theory, there is a strong suggestive evidence that trauma based behavior control is applied today on mass scale.
For example, Israel's "Dahiya doctrine" is meant to control behavior and produce terrorists through causing trauma to civilians.
And the entire system in the world is put in place to cause trauma related to disobedience. It is clearly observed that once you stop repeating what news tell you, once you start thinking for yourself, you experience rejection, disapproval, condemnation...ect.

And US didnt stop researching human behavior after project Mkultra.
two facts are most obvious in this case:
One, project Mkultra researched a lot more than what is publicly admitted. We know this because the only documents we have on project Mkultra are those which were publicly shown, with majority of documents being destroyed, what else was there?
Fact two, US had every interest to continue project Mkultra in secret. Even today, USA has "top secret" projects where money goes to, and no one knows what those projects are.
