Ok, so Im older man { X y }, and just had my first colonscopy and clean as a whistle.

I was worried that I had was loosing to much weight in last two years, --18 lbs--  however, on visit to get colonscopy, with my extreme laxative purge the day and night before { as required for colonscopy } I weighed in, expecting to have lost another 2 or more pounds.

I had gained two lbs since my last lowest weight in those two years.  Yay!

165. I got as low as 163 from 175 or so.
 Maybe it was only 16 lbs I lost, but 9 those were like in the last 3 months. The Nurse Practicioner, said 163 was ideal for my body mass.

A long time semi-friend of mine lost some 90 lbs in last year, and he died last week. He was 78 and  that is average age of death of USA male.

Other than these two total reverse shoulder replacements, 8 years of sciatica, trigger finger in my thumb, and slipped L5 disc, and what ever has been causing me semi-constant pain in lower left back just above hip bone ---recent X-ray doc said some arithis--, perdontis disease, I would say, that, Im in pretty good shape for the shape Im in.

Oh yeah minor,  heart murmur for at least six years, so as long as it doesnt get worse, I plan to keep on truckin along the road of life.  Yay!

Personally, I would never do that. I dont really feel comfortable with doctors poking me there.

Good for you. Around early last year my bowel movements changed so I wondered if it was colon cancer and I ended up having to swab my poops with a little brush. Nothing came of it, thankfully.

@ebuc.

Semi-friend…Interesting concept…Sort of a bloke you knew, but didn't really want to invite in for coffee.

And presumably ones weight is always relative to ones body mass and therefore always ideal. Though no nor necessarily ideal if ones body mass corresponds to a weight of say 480lbs.

Other than ear wax removal I tend to avoid surgical procedures.

Was it that Cologuard kit? My family members hate doing it.

Speaking of that, I was having some issues, like a bug crawling around in my ear at various times often laying bed waiting to go to sleep. My family doctor said to try some olive oil in it. So cotton swabbed with the oil and pretty much fixed the issue.

I wore out my rotor cuffs. No cartilage or very little remaining. Right shoulder was worse 7 - 8 - 9 pain sometimes.

14 months out on the non-dominant, left shoulder and Ive overworked between putting new metal roof over my old metal roof and my regular money making job. So in last week and half, some icing and 11 prednisolone pills, last night pain and swelling of the deltoid muscle has caused me to call out from work today.

Going to try to get in for X-ray with doctor who did both my shoulders. Just to be sure there not any excessive loose-ness in the steel and plastic joint. I work to hard all of my life, and I knew doing this roof was going to be hard on my shoulders. Sad :--(. Hopefully I can not loose more days of money making work.

I dont want to be out of a job, and not sure I can find another with two total reverse surgeries on my resu'me.
