My parents worked their whole life, and their whole life is misery from start to finish. So yeah, there are cases where work doesnt pay off. If they spent 40 years praising God, maybe God would give them a better life and a functional brain.

If they had more responsible children who would take care of them in their senior years. That would be a just reward.

Sadly, they only had 1 kid and couldnt even raise that 1 kid properly.

You are an adult now. That is hardly an excuse.

I agree, but as I said, my parents are not competent. they want to spend my entire childhood abusing me and then not even have any decency to kick me out of house once I am an adult so I have to stay with them still.
