You are not moderate. You're views are extreme and you lack subtlety. If it weren't for the traffic your ragebaiting potentially brings to the site, I suspect you would have been instabanned. I question the wisdom of wanting that type of traffic, but, hey, that's just me.

Re: freespeech - you have it regardless of your ability to post on this site. You dont have a 'right' to post here and neither does anyone (except for the site owners). Regardless, the government isnt restricting your speech.

As for the chart, independents have increased more than Republicans (seriously, a 1% increase isn't evidence of some grand paradigm shift). The people changing their labels arent necessarily sympathetic to Republicans, but less supportive of Democrats. And thats not hard to understand since neither party is doing enough to advocate for the majority of Americans.

What about YouTube? Or Modern Day Debate? Those have people from all over the political spectrum. I think a platform being set up specifically for debate (as opposed to like reddit or 4chan) means it's going to need people to disagree on big issues and will have some diversity of opinion.

Regardless, I don't know of any site that has held referendums and trials and offensiveness markings for self curation to the extent we have; we may be able to achieve a third outcome besides the two you're describing.

Because the owner of DART didn't renew the domain, and do got infested with spam bots. Had nothing to do with politics.

That's an average, you have extreme left and extreme right beliefs. "Women should be banned from voting" is well outside the Overton window.

First, I never claimed to be a moderate. Secondly, "More moderate" than someone else is not the same thing as moderate.

A moderate is:

Thats not how 'rights' work.

It's a trend. From 41% to 36.5%. Independents and unaffiliated lean right; it's why combined they're closer to 50% then Dems + independents.

Again, this does not necessarily signal sympathethy to Republicans.
