When you weaponized government you open that door. So no we don't have to keep taking punches and never punch back. Maybe after this term if you guys can promise to stop being evil than we can stop using your own tactics against you

Firstly, if you believe government shouldn't be weaponized you would be advocating for new measures aimed at ensuring that never happen again. Every single democrat in Congress would support that effort. But instead you're supporting the weaponization of government against you're perceived political opponents and thereby telling on yourself. You don't actually hold this value.
But even worse, it's just a blatant lie. The government was not weaponized in the prior administration, that's just the excuse the MAGA right is uncritically accepting because it provides the narrative they need to justify the weaponization they have been salivating over for years.
Lastly, the "evil" thing is a nice touch. This is why propaganda works, as the old saying goes; "if you can get people to believe absurdities you can get them to commit atrocities". I used to wonder how the Holocaust happened, I don't anymore. I've now seem first hand how an entire population can be radicalized with flagrant bullshit. It's enlightening but also makes me so sad for the human race.
