I agree with virtual everything you have said of Canada, however, consider two facts you cannot ignore, but have: Canada is larger than the US in area by 1M sq km, and the US is larger in population by 300M people, so all the "advantages" you claim of Canada is so because most of its territory is uninhabited and could not afford the "advantages" you claim for it were Canada the population of the US. The U&S is the 3rd most populated nation in the world behind India and China. Socialism [asking the population to foot the bill for those "advantages" will never abide successfully in the US.
