How is freedom in India compared to the United States?
Both India and the USA value freedom of speech—but they draw the lines differently. While the USA protects almost all speech, including hate and symbolic protest, India places greater emphasis on societal order, morality, and national unity.
I think that it is only frowned upon to urinate on the street in India.

That is tragic, and I believe it is the intended outcome of MAGA evangelical Christians.
The current environment of shaming and hate mongering has traumatized millions of the very same people that should have been comforted. Contempt for our societies marginalized people in the name of Jesus is a grotesque perversion of both American and Christianity values. The so called "Evangelical Christians" are the component of MAGA that disgusts me the most.
And now there are millions of women with Autistic children who are being guilted for "causing" their child's condition because they took Tylenol when they were pregnant.
I believe the cruelty of MAGA is/was the primary attraction to have grown the MAGA movement in the first place, Trump promised to harm the "them" of their "us/them" thinking, and it was a magnet for the angry, cruel people out there.
I had a completely different opinion of the people of this country, and now that we have shown who we really are, I am ashamed to be an American.

I dont blame her. I can understand that from Christian point of view, trans people would hate themselves if they were true Christians. And once people get convinced that Jesus is real, its so difficult to convince them otherwise.

Fact is you can usually get racial minority A to be racist toward racial minority B if you 1) make them feel like they're at least better than racial minority B or 2) make them feel like it earns them acceptance with a group of higher status.
