Congress today is useless because only the most extreme candidates on both sides can win their primaries, which is all that matters in the majority of Congressional districts. What we end up with are 400+ people whose mission their constituents sent them to complete is to own the other side.
What would go a long way in solving this problem is to ban Gerrymandering nation wide. Democrats tried to pass it but the republicans blocked it. So join us, and welcome to the resistance.
