on the obamacare exchange subsidies, biden and the democrats passed 'enhanced' subsidies when he was president, and republicans dont want to renew them. and see my other thread on medicaid, they are using paper work to kick off working poor who meet the criteria but not the formalities, such as how most of them work enough to qualify. i can sympathize with the republicans on the obamacare exchange subsidies because average and above average income people shoudln't be having the federal governemnt borrow to pay their bills. but i dont sympathize with the medicaid cuts, cause medicaid is very cost effective and cheaper than obamacare and it's going to the poor and lower working class. unlike you said, the funding hasn't been settled, at least not these enhanced subsidies.
