Republicans need to watch out for these things and regard the poor, and be willing to give their resources, let them keep working even when successful.

In history rome had bread and circuses. The government gave money to people who used it for entertainment and food, they didnt work.

Not without committing theft. And as I said, unless you can prove these people got their wealth by stealing, you have no point. Whatever other points you bring up, luck, inheritance...ect. are irrelevant.

Why is this so difficult for you?

We’re not talking about ownership rights. We’re talking about the wealth disparity and whether that disparity matches to what people’s contributions to society are actually worth.

Theft has nothing to do with this conversation.

The central point of this debate is, how do you measure a person’s worth and how closely does that align with actual monetary compensation. That’s an entirely different discussion from whether they got their money “fair and square”.

You get rich in trade only if other people agree to give you their money.

The fact that someone agreed to give me their money is irrelevant to the question of whether my contributions to that trade are worth the money I made off of it.

If for example, the product I traded is one that I was only in control over because I inherited it, then clearly my personal contributions are worth far less than the amount I am benefiting from it.

So yes, inheritance, along with the other aspects of this I mentioned, are absolutely relevant here.

If you say hard work increases your chances, then the arguement and concept of chance is pointless. Everything has a season, including riches and poverty.

Edit: there are other promises in scripture about wealth and how to obtain riches however. Most of them deal with being diligent, considering the poor, lending, helping others, being prudent, not being a sluggard etc.

There are also false riches or evil ways to gain money, but it becomes a snare, or the righteous and poor take it after you die.

For whatever reason, Democrats in red states seem to be more poor than Democrats in blue states, but overall the general population does better in a red state

Red states have working class Democrats where Blue states are the white collar managerial class Democrats. Most of this social structure will be upended during the AI transformation, for better or worse. Many college produced white collar jobs are going away while skilled trade jobs will be invaluable. The wealth transfer will be quite the shakeup for the USA.
