Trump would have lost as a Democrat that is why he switched even though he contributed a lot to Democratic candidates. But his policies are more inclined towards Republicans. Republican MAGA.

After Obama permanently and decisively redefined the Democrat party, turning it into a Chicago-style grift machine, essentially destroying both parties, that gave Trump the only possible window to run and win. When politics stops being about policy and persuasion and starts being about raw control, the only viable counter is a chaotic disruptor. Someone loud, unembarrassed, immune to shaming, and willing to smash power control norms instead of respecting them. It's why they could jail him, have him shot at, and the Chicago-style tactics failed completely against him, whereas Romney and McCain flopped hard against the grift machine. Romney was destroyed with a stupid story about abusing his family dog....

Personally, I've been all except non-committal. And I now live outside Park City, UT [very liberal as UT generally goes, but they even elected Johnson in 1964 [kennedy's VP; the only Democrat UT ever elected, I think], at 7500 feet in a forest.

Yes, China produces the most print versions, and curiously - and one reason why I think China talks communism, but they think capitalism, is because 1/3 of their Bible production is for Chinese consumption. However, digital versions exceed the number of print versions annually since 2024, and most production comes out of Brazil.

Then followed it up by launching his political career declaring that Mexicans in this country are criminals and rapists. There is 0% chance, in any universe, that trump could have even had the oppurtunity to be considered as a democrat candidate. The democrats are a real party with experienced and educated members. Compare that to trump and his administration of losers. He only succeeded as a republican due to the republican voter base being... poorly made.

Contrast MAGA with Kamala declaring that she wouldn't do anything different from Biden, and it's clear the American parties are functionally reversing their roles, where Democrants will fight tooth and nail for status quo(conservative), and MAGA wants real change(progressive). Democrats are acting as the party of maintenance while MAGA is acting as the party of change, which is why the rhetoric feels inverted, and massive amounts of gaslighting are required to keep the game going.

Democrats are shown gains in Congress and Senate seats. Hope they pull a majority and impeach Trump again.
