Im not agsinst decreasing wasteful spending. But to quote the debate McCain had with Obama, this is taking an ax to spending, its taking a scalpel.


We have let the wealthy skirt paying a fair share of taxes. Where the rich man's secretary pays more in taxes than he does.


We could raise a trillion a year with spending cuts no more than ten percent acriss the board and carefully implemented tax increases on the wealthy and upper class

Why would you want to tax the wealthy who make America rich. They also employ workers that pay taxes. So they are already a source for taxes.

So the largest sources of revenue and individuals shouldn't be taxed much? How is that fair or wise?

The majority of people paying taxes are employed by wealthy business people and many are billionaires. So indirectly they pay taxes through their employees, who wouldn’t be paying taxes otherwise if unemployed.

The wealthy own businesses which employ numerous employees who pay taxes. It’s a form of indirect taxation.
