I built from scratch the scheduling program my company uses to cover its daily operation. What used to take weeks of training and sometimes hours per day of manual work is now done in a few minutes. After years of searching for an external company that could offer this and being told over and over again that their software didn’t have those capabilities, I decided to just make it myself, using excel.
So yeah, totally irrelevant but I’m not totally impressed by someone who’s able to build software. That still doesn’t qualify them to fire thousands of people in positions he has no concept of.
