I sometimes think America and perhaps the West, 'should have just attempted to conquer the world right after WW2.

Nations with nukes, generally don't want, and often don't 'let nations without nukes, acquire nukes.

An obviously unequal relationship.

And of course, for governments without nukes, their 'wanting nukes makes perfect sense.

Though arguably power can be achieved without nukes. One just has to be less antagonistic about it.

Let's say we 'don't attack Iran here,

Are our goals and plans suddenly going to align?

Will we share similar morals and values?

Unlikely I think.

Though that is not to say that 'I am saying military action against Iran right now is or is not moral or strategically sound.

But there is my tribalism again, and my dislike of tolerance, accepting of others values, weakening of one's own tribe.

(Shrug) But I am more Nihilistic and Self Centered, than I am Tribalistic.

. . . There is also my view that 'America is not so much a Tribe as a coalition of Tribes.

. . . Admittedly perhaps 'all very large Tribes 'are coalitions of many Tribes. But I think their is more disunity, lack of shared values in America, compared to some other nations.

Iran wasnt going to be a nation with a nuke, it was going to be a church with a nuke. Huge difference.

Danger of Oil prices rising,

Argument that Iran is more dangerous for America to attack compared to when we attacked Iraq in the past.

Well, I suppose it 'might anger American consumers if oil rises.

I am uneducated on the military strengths of Iraq and Iran in history and current day.

Britain didn't seem to have much trouble with the Argentina,

I 'think Argentina had a 'weak military.

But I recall reading how their planes were just a 'bit older than those of the British, and that seemed to make a 'huge difference.

. . The more tech has developed, the more 'small differences in tech has been magnified I 'think.

So I am thinking America could still stomp Iran with ease.

But I am uneducated on Iran military, or military in general.

Assuming America can stomp Iran's military, there is question of what next?

'Possibility of revolution.

Possibility of Iran fracturing.

Lot of trouble, lot of suffering, seems likely.

What do we risk by 'not attacking Iran?

Future troubles maybe, that maybe we can avoid by attacking now.

The defining feature of a Church is preparation for the afterlife.

This is why Nations do not generally allow Churches to possess nuclear bombs.

You're focused on Iran, strategically, the war has little to do with Iran, the primary strategic goals are threefold:

1) Control the news cycle, specifically, distract attention from the Epstein fiasco.

2) Allow Trump to escalate his crackdown on dissent.

3) Further consolidate power within the executive branch, subjugate congressional authority.

His Supreme Court immunized the President from criminal charges for official misconduct, which allows him to ignore the law in the process of

establishing an autocracy. Attacking Iran is simply a means to an end, what happens in Iran is relatively inconsequential to Trump and his agenda.

Maybe, and maybe not.

It's not as if US and Iran interactions have only 'suddenly happened.

Been going on for years.

Of course he was wrong, Obama did not start a war with Iran, Trump had no insight into Obama’s mind, all he was really telling us is what He would do if he were President. Well, now he is President, and he’s facing political disaster in this year’s elections, and he has already confessed that he believes that starting a way with Iran would have a positive political effect domestically, and he desperately needs to do something about his disastrous polls and the coming Blue Tsunami.

Trump doesn’t comprehend the intricacies of Middle Eastern politics, his staff doesn’t either, he doesn’t even care about it, what he does know and care about is domestic politics. Trump isn't thinking about how bombing Iran will affect Iran, as always, he's only thinking about how it will affect him,
