Rep. John Larson, D-Conn., 77, rais3d a long-shot bid to impeach Trump by issuing 13 articles of impeachment as he faces a primary threat from younger challengers. He also faces violating his own House Rules in levying articles of impeachment in the first place, but even Nancy Pelostomy, in Trump's first term, issued articles of impeachment in violation of House Rules she, herself, ratified in the 116th and 117th Congress. By the rules, until the entire House membership votes to investigate a party for impeachment, no articles of impeachment can be issued. Pelostomy's launch, in both Congresses, was by a presser. Larson is no more creative than that, and is not the House Speaker, to boot. Just an ordinary Congressman. Well, no one said Democrats in Congress are particularly brilliant.
