Obama had inspectors who'd be there for 15 years with low enrichment for nuclear power plants. Trump wants 20 years with no power plants and inspectors. Obama gave them less than 2 billion trump wants to give them 20 billion. So whats the key difference? They cant renege as easily without power plants but assuming they weren't going to Obama and trump have the same plan except trumps duration is slightly longer and hes giving them way more money. Which is worse. He fucked their shit up but that can all be rebuilt and dont change much.

I support in principle the use of force to stop nuclear weipons but thats assuming theres a point to it

Hmmmm.

The US has 5000 of them...Russia about the same...Israel who knows and who checks.

Iran doesn't have any.

All in all, it is thought that nine countries possess nuclear weapons, but no one is certain and no one is checking and no one is using force to stop them.

So glad we're ***this*** close to getting exactly what we had when Trump first took office in 2017. Cause you know, art of the deal.

2020-2024, Iran kicked all the inspectors out, and US just shrugged and said: "whatever, then the next guy can deal with it."

Obama gave them less than 2 billion

2 billion for a year of pretending to comply on the surface with limited declared sites for inspectors, while keeping all the centrifuges and bunkers for later, after the payoffs stopped, what a bargain. It's too bad those optics didn't transfer over to the 2016 election because now you have a madman who won't allow undeclared sites.

You don't suppose that's because Trump cancelled the nuclear agreement with Iran that imposed the inspector requirement in 2018, he said no way do we honor an agreement that Obama and Europe made, he said the next guy can deal with it.

trump wants to give them [Iran] 20 billion [dollars].

Why don't you tell it like it is: not that Trump [is it really just Trump, or those in direct talks with Iran - i.e., not Trump personally and uniquely, as you apparently accuse - tell me I'm wrong]

Axios, CBS, CNN, and others, all tell a different story from yours, and yours is unsourceded. You don't know the point of denying nukes to Iran? When they call us and Israel "The Great Satan," and have launched deadly attacks on both military and civilian targets from 1979, forward, and have funded satellite terrorists to do the same? Who's Satan, and where have you been the last nearly 50 years?

https://www.axios.com/2026/04/17/iran-us-deal-20-billion-frozen-funds-uranium,

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-says-iranians-have-agreed-to-everything-including-removal-of-enriched-uranium/, https://www.cnn.com/2026/04/17/politics/iran-trump-money-uranium-deal

That the US would not "give" Iran $20B US, but release frozen assets already belonging to Iran, some of which have been frozen for nearly 40 years. Obama did this, contrary to claims that he gave "plane-loaded of cash" to Iran. Why are Democrats, and you, denying this wrinkle of the story, but accept that Oba'a did it? TDS?

That's what it looks like. Woke is dead, my friend. Get it?

All in all, is there a human life balanced compensation for use of a nuke to prevent further loss of human life? The US is the only nation to have actually used nukes in war, as we admitted it, but justified by the prevention of loss of life to Americans, who did not start WWII, but damn well finished it. And we finished it without declaring that our enemies in war were Satan, and funding proxies to battle for us. And we have paid paid untold billions of dollars to all enemies up through Vietnam, and like to Arab countries of the Middle East, in addition to allies in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, so stop whining that we're unjustified with regard to Iran. They've killed many US civilians and military.

Well The US has killed many civilians as well as military too, in it's ongoing ideological battles of the latter half of the 20th century and throughout the first quarter of the 21st century...So stop whining when one points out the hypocrisy of a nuclear superpower waging war and killing the military and civilians of a Nation that does not possess nuclear weapons, especially with Israel just up the road...And I won't go into it again, but suffice to say this latest incursion into the affairs of the Middle East is absolutely nothing to do with nuclear weapons.

And further, WW2 in Europe wasn't ended by the US dropping nuclear bombs on Japan...WW2 in Europe was ended by an overwhelming coalition of nations...Predominately Russia, the US and all other allies.

So Faux, do you think that New Great America under the leadership of the New Jesus himself will actually see this skirmish through to a successful end. Or will it just typically scuttle off back from whence it came leaving those left behind to salvage something from the chaos it created.

Though the question is what do the US and it's Jewish overlords actually regard as a successful end?...I don't think that it will be peace and security in Israel.

We will have to wait and see...No scuttling back home yet methinks...Lot's more lovely death and destruction required.

That's a bullshyte argument, Sarge. Yes, we have nukes; thousands of them. Have we ever used one in combat since the close WWII? NO! Why not, when we have them? Because we're not the great Satan, zs accused by Iran, and that's it in spades. We just don't shove people off their land. Usually, in war, the victor takes the spoils, including the land. The US has, in past centuries done that; it's why we are who and what we are today. But the last major instance of the U.S. permanently acquiring significant land directly through a treaty ending a military conflict was the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, 178 years ago. Get it? Iran still wants to do that, plus wipe Israel off the map, and us, too, if truth be told.

More bullshyte. Iran's leadership thugs still want nukes [even when they've said they will no longer pursue that course, they've lied too often in the past 49 years t beige the shyte coming out of their mouths. And they will use them, first on Israel. We have an agreement with Israel to prevent that. You manage to continuously ignore that.

the New Jesus himself

More bullshyte. I'm done.

You miss the point. I agreed it's sometimes necessary to use force to stop a country even Iran from getting nukes. I already said that. What you failed to respond to, is that even if Trump gets what he wants by said force, then it's barely any different than Obama got without force. So what's the point? At this point, yes Iran might need force used against it due to current circumstances... But it's still nothing much different than Obama got

You mean nothing yet. This isn't over, even if Congress disagrees. It's a three-equal-branch government, yeah? And that's because Oba'a never understood [or did not want to understand] that the Iranian leadership since 1979 has never intended to stop their nuclear weapon ambition. That's why Trump has been dealing from a perspective of "unconditional surrender," i.e., Iran gets nothing. No continued insane government. No nukes. No enriched plutonium [we take it away from them by them showing us and taking us to wherever it is]. And no fighting with proxy warriors like Hamas and Hezbo, and any other H-brother. Nothing. Oba'a simply lacked the balls to demand that - a failure whose only ambition was to continue his presidency even if that meant his hand was rammed up Biden's arse to move the wooden puppet's mouth.

Anyway Faux.

I expect that the US is planning to visit North Korea next and sort out it's leadership thugs and shut down their nuclear aspirations.

Oh, and whilst your there, might as well do the same to China...Kill two birds with one stone as it were...Save going back and forth.
