“No free man is to be arrested, or imprisoned, or disseised, or outlawed, or exiled, or in any other way ruined, nor will we go against him or send against him, except by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the law of the land.”

This is the 39th Clause of the Magna Carta of 1215; the primary inspiration for the U.S. Constitution. We summarize these words in two words: due process. These latter two words find purchase in the Constitution, so we [should] treat them as statutory law if not holy writ. By personal conviction, it is.

And yet, while the presidential oath of office was being performed on 20 January, 1917, within the hour, the Washington Post declared by headline: "The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun" All Trump had done, as President, to commit the impeachable crime of "high crimes and misdemeanors" was to walk along Pennsylvania Ave hand-in-hand with his wife. Where was due process? Being trashed by the 4th estate, which estate has not let-up, since, now 9 tears hence. When will the 4th estate recognize the trash due process? When will you who join in; when you, yourselves, may find need of its protection? Should it justly come to your protection when you have trashed it, yourselves?

Due process says a person is innocent until indicted [not merely accused by mouth], tried [in a court of law, and not merely by opinion], and convicted [found guilty by sworn testimony and evidence]. Only then is there guilt, and even that is open to appeal.

Difficult to tell if this is meant to be satirical or you're actually being serious.

Due process applies situations where individuals face a loss of rights and/or legal entitlements. Being president is neither.

Did I mention that the campaign against Trump began even before he was President, but in fact the Fall of 2014, when he announced just the potential of his running; over two years before Trump was the President, let alone within the hour of his being sworn in, as I allowed above? I certainly have elsewhere in another post. Convicted not just in the media, but by Democrat operatives, including Hilaryous Balloon Girl; so, yes, a loss of rights and legal entitlements. And, not to mention that the concept of due process is not just as old as the Magna Carta, but older by over 1,200 years [to Christ], and older than Christ by another 1,800 years by the ancient Egyptians? Yes, they had it clearly defined; perhaps the most advance civilization before the United States, and potentially had their finger on the pulse, even surpassing us.

So, not satirical.

Um, yeah… turns out people don’t like the idea of a vile, childish, petulant ignoramus in the Oval Office, and would therefore oppose the very idea of his candidacy. That’s not news, that’s common sense.

Being president is not a legal entitlement.

But I especially love that first line; “convicted by the media”… yeah, of being a vile, childish, petulant ignoramus. Because he is. Only in MAGAville does that make you a great candidate for office.

One can say the very same, and not be speaking of Trump.

Being president is not a legal entitlement.

I never said it was. What is legal is to have the ambition to be the president, meet the few constitutiional requirements, and then plan and execute the plan [how to become the president], just as I've already said. What I did not say, but could [and will] is that the media is not legally equipped to convict anyone of anything, they just think they have that power and privilege. Swelled heads.

Trump was given due process and found guilty of 34 felony counts and convicted, yet he was elected for a second term.
