No, because it’s not serious. Sure it might be interesting to think about which public services we would want if limited to a set number, but the point I’ve been making here is that this is an incredibly stupid way to think about governing. Serious responsible governance means looking at each problem for what it is and deciding what to do about it based on its own merits. We don’t look at a problem and decide if we should solve it based on some totally arbitrary count of other problems we have solved and declaring that problem solving time is now over.
