But do you know which God he worshipped?
He worshipped Zeus!
So the most successful person in history worshipped Zeus.
What does that tell you? You could say "correlation causation bla bla bla".
But then look at ancient Greece. It is a very tiny part of ancient world. Yet that tiny part of the world is responsible for greatest scientific and philosophical discoveries of ancient world.
Who did they worship? Zeus!
Now, you may say "okay, coincidence can happen twice".
But then comes the political systems which Greeks invented, including Communism (implied by Plato) and Capitalism (implied by Aristotle).
Ancient Greece is also most famous place from ancient world.
So a God from some tiny country in ancient world is correlated with:
- Conquering all known world
- Accounting for greatest discoveries of ancient world
- Inventing two most debated political systems
- Making a small place famous throughout whole history.
- Ancient Greece due to technological innovation defeating much larger invading militaries
And someone tells me that Zeus doesnt exist?
Okay, lets see what happens when Greece abandoned belief in Zeus and accepted Christianity: No any glory, successes, discoveries or conquests followed.
What is unique about me is that I worship Gods who have proven high success rate.
Jesus had no success rate. Other than the parody called Proslogion, Christians invented nothing for 2000 years. All countries which accepted Christianity fell apart. Rome fell apart. Vatican fell apart. Even Christianity itself fell apart on multiple denominations who fought because they couldnt agree who reads Bible right. Christianity today is mostly abandoned.
And you compare that nonsense to Zeus, who is correlated with many greatest achievements in history?
Lets talk Roman Empire. Julius Ceasar is probably among most famous and most glorious persons in history. No Christian in history achieved his greatness.
Who did Julius Ceasar worship? Did he worship Jesus? No. He worshipped Venus.
When Roman soldiers were forced to accept Christ, they said they were afraid Mars will destroy Rome. And indeed, Rome was destroyed after accepting Christianity.
Now lets take a step further.
Ancient Egypt, responsible for greatest wonders in history, including pyramids and statues which go beyond possibility. It was also extremely wealthy.
Who did ancient Egypt worship?
Ra, Sun God!
I dont need to say that territory of ancient Egypt, after accepting Islam and Christianity, never made another wonder.
So when someone tells me that Christianity and Islam, who on their own in 2000 years of existence only invented terrorism and genocides, and it was only when countries moved away from Christianity and separated Church from state that they made any advancement in anything.
Zeus, Ra, Venus, Mars, are correlated with greatest wonders in history.
Allah and Jesus are only correlated with stupidity and severe delusions of mass population.
