Biblical scholars have gone through the entire Bible and found various explanations for what would appear to be minor contradictions. But on investigation the full context of the quote. These minor differences were explained. It has to do with context and its translation. The Bible has been translated into 776 languages. And yet Christianity is growing.

 John 10:30 " I and the Father are one".  

John 14:28 “ I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I" .

I judge then I don't judge

John 8:15   " You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one.

Those are the words spoken by Jesus and each can be explained when taken in context of what he was trying to say. That is why it is important to view the Bible as inspired because to the average Skeptical reader the Bible often appears beyond his comprehension. Just like the struggles you are having with different verses in the Bible. Most Christians would have no difficulty accepting the same quotes and truthful and factual.

jesus was saying he and the Father were united in purpose….as one.

John 14:28 “I am going to the Father, for thefather is greater than I.”

jesus was going to heaven to join his Father. He showed his respect for his Fathers authority.

john 5:22-30 “Moreover the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgement to his Son. By myself I can do nothing, I judge only as I hear, and my judgement is just.”

jesus explains the Father no longer judges , but has entrusted that authority to Jesus. Jesus can do nothing without the authority coming from his Father.

john 12:47 I do not judge that person, For I did not come to judge the world , but to save the world.”

jesus says his main mission is not to judge the world but to save it.

Not a single one of those verse point to the so-called trinity. Indeed they clear point to the fact that Jesus and god (the father) are undoubtedly two separate entities.

This doctrine of the trinity defines them as co-equal and co-eternal, acting in perfect unity while maintaining separate roles.

I don't care what "mainstream Christian Theology" says. I can only go by the bibl. Just you yourself have said many times that you only need the bible.

Why do Christians need to practice.

They have to practice what they preach.

Christians practice their faith 

to connect with God, strengthen their community, and foster spiritual growth, treating it as a way of life rather than just a belief system.

Faith is misplaced or not.

And to strengthen a community people need to connect with each other and foster friendship rather than religious separatism.

And for sure, a belief system is either a waste of time or not.

And the way of life is mostly mudanity and sleep with the occasional time for leisure pursuits such as cycling or religious clubs.

Religion bring people together as people open their hearts. They become united in their goals and worship.
