I expect I should not expect it to succeed in any meaningful way.

Spirit has many definitions in the dictionary. If spiritual has to do with the integrity of soul/biologic, then AI's prayer may or may not have meaningful resultants. Many factors to consider.

3} for the specific person or persons,

4} whom ever may see the prayer and act in response to it,

5} a great cosmic accounting of what has transpired prior to this prayer, during and after the prayer,

6} resultants of such actions on cosmic and local enviroments --ex more money for Claude instead of MS Copilot-- for what ever reasons humans may find meaningful to them by such prayers etc

Right there is the primary reason why AI will never even come close to understanding human spirituality [and I'm not certain that the function of spirituality, as in recognition of a God/creator, is missing in animals other than human] on any meaningful way until it is capable of independent rationalization of the spiritual phenomenon, completely void of human source coding. The rest is just fluff compared to that one AI flaw.

Depends entirely on how AI is programmed and if its human programing includes any conceptual input of spirituality, which, so far, seems to leave AI void of input.
