This was the first of three prototypes he built. He finally conceded and made drawings for Dymaxion with steering in front, i.e. best for road travel, not air-transport. He submitted it to industrialist Henry J. Kaiser., tho did not give money for a prototype of that design, tho did help later with some domes.
