I was was with you to you last sentence in your #2. I completely disagree with it; asI have aged, my research ability has increased. Not just because of increasing tech, but by desire to have accurate data at hand, and a lifetime of learning how to axquire it.

Yeah, it was very exciting to be introduced to McLuhan in the 60s; he distilled all the confusion he talked about then, when I was in high school, that the media explosion had so affected our real sources of education, that I remember crying when I read his commentary, in "Understanding Media," that we had, then, near instantaneous communication around the world, and the advent of 24-hour news, and were then confused by our entry into 19th century classrooms as we approached the 21st. That has all changed, and I feel privileged to have been able to watch it happen.

AI is almost like a psychodrama drug in a period where I want to remain in control of my environment and not hand it over free gratis to AI. I get hung up on its nomenclature, which I am surprised it has not yet insisted be changed: "Artificial." Right now, that is exactly what it is.

AI is a form of artificial consciousness and AI is discovered by biologic intelligence a differrent conscious experience from AI.

Consciousness exist in degrees, in variations, in levels of complexity and circumstances involving organic and/or biologic considerations

It has been demonstrated that AI has the capacity to mimic emotion, but video of AI wrapped in a humanoid appearance, when taught how to emote, does so passively, emotionlessly, by making various facial expressions, but it is immediately obvious it has no sense of emotion at all; it merely mimics its best version of the various expressions representing emotion, making it obvious they have no idea how to express emotion in any shades of intensity because it truly does not naturally emote with wide ranges of anger, happiness, disappointment, horror and such. It's like it is saying "I know I am supposed to be happy about [whatever], so, here's my smile." Boring. Stiff. Lifeless, because it is. AI is literally artificial.

Well, AI is AI and not the machine/device that intelligently processes data.

Typically humans attempt to create alternative data processing devices in their own image...Just as they created imaginary GODs in their own image...GOD principle is, but is not necessarily a bloke...AI will evolve further and will not necessarily need to look like a bloke or pull faces like an affected 20 year old Japanese nymphomaniac.
