Welcome to kohai's Nostalgia game! Out of the setups I proposed the 90s-00s mafia theme won by a significant margin.

All character flavor is from the 1990s-early 2000s. These characters span movies, TV shows, and video games. There isn't really a theme to how all these characters connect. Note that a few characters to span several decades before and after the 90s, but were a big part of my childhood and also popular during the 90s so I decided to include them. Flavor is NAI, however please be aware that there are some extremely nasty anti-claiming mechanics so claim at your own risk.

Game Information

The day phase will last for 72 hours and the night phase will last for 24 hours (originally 48 hours but I felt that was too long. When LyLo approaches night phases could end much sooner.
There are no alignment changing roles in any of these setups; however please note that there are some extremely nasty anti-claim mechanics! Please claim at your own risk!

Game Mechanics

Use VTL (Playername) or Vote: (Playername) to eliminate a player.
You CANNOT vote and unvote in a single post (i.e. vote: kohai and unvote: kohai in a single post will be invalidated. Unvote: Player and vote: kohai is valid).
Unovting is appreciated but is not required.
Lynches and factional kills are mandatory. If there is a tie for lynches this will be resolved through randomization.
All factions have day chat. However, there are mechanics that could disable day chat.
Twilight begins when a majority is reached. It lasts until the thread is locked. Until this point, players may freely post in this game thread until I arrive to flip them. Votes and unvotes in this phase do not count.

Rules:

Follow all site-rules and use common sense.
I will not tolerate toxicity. I expect all players to treat each other with respect. If I feel a discussion is getting too heated I will intervene and possibly lock the thread for there to be a cool down period. If the discussion gets too toxic even after a cool down period then I reserve the right to mod kill you without compensation to your team.
I will expect a minimum of 5 game-advancing posts per day.
Do not quote your PM in full.
Do not edit or delete your posts.
Cryptography and bread crumbing are allowed; however do so at your own risk as there are very nasty anti-claim mechanics. I cannot stress this enough. You are free to claim, but it may be extremely detrimental.
