Tell me, honestly: do you or anyone else refuse to lynch me after that? I’d frankly be shocked if anyone changed their minds lynching me regardless of what happened, so best case scenario for me, town gets a leg up next DP and I’m still dead after multiple hours of arguing that we should wait on the opinions of others. the split is almost with certainty scarlet vs the liberation with wf as the tp but based on some things that have been mentioned. The split is at the start of the game or before the game starts

the concept behind it is the toran liberation is trying to recruit people into their liberation to beat the scarlet empire

the catch is there is a good number of people who can’t be recruited. There are some who can

there are very specific things in game that directly dictate this and scum won’t be able to find it by googling it. Skep could have told them or they would have had to have played the game

saying this because if someone claims someone that is part of toran. It doesn’t lock they are scum. It means they were empire in the lore prior to the game starting

but pushing people to lock characters earlier is useful because everyone has said they are part of scarlet and there are limited people to claim with that now

I think it’s the former. I think tir is town for reasons I won’t get into. Could be wrong but when that pops up. There is a possibility he may not be scum even as the leader of the rebellion late game

If I were whiteflame my counter to this would be that I am third party and dont care, but hes clearly trying to sell that hes looking after towns best interest. Conceding to mikals bullying doesn't really benefit all of town lol

Sincerely, I’d love to know what anyone else would do in my shoes. Guess I could have rolled a number generator and picked someone at random, or just shot Mikal under the pretense that scum should have a leg up (still think he’s town, btw). I chose to wait anyway and sheep a widely townread player’s choice. I was the auto-lynch regardless of what happened. The worst you can accuse me of is jumping the gun, and yes, I just got fed up fighting for something that I knew wouldn’t affect me at all. So sue me.

Probably the same but would have owned it lol. If people don't wanna work with the third party, fuck the people, work with the mafia instead and cause chaos. Which you kind of did, unintentionally anyway. Now you just gotta celebrate it instead of care if people are beating you up for it lol.

Yeah… and benefitting town helps me not at all if I’m getting auto-lynched, man. I’m not here to help one side out of the goodness of my heart. My aim was to align myself with town, and the response I got was “you’re the lynch this DP regardless.” Going through all the effort to get a claim, presumably townlocking Mharman, and shifting to a different target would have still resulted in my lynch, 100%. I was told repeatedly I was dead regardless. So here we are.

Kohai you can't honestly be that surprised what happened, happened. You force someone into a corner with a gun and tell them to shoot, and tell them they are dying right after they shoot anyway, you can't expect them to do the noble thing, especially if their win condition doesn't require them to. This is why I was saying it wasn't a huge deal to leave whiteflame alive if we had a better target. Third parties will work with town and usually do more than they work with scum.

Now you just gotta celebrate it instead of care if people are beating you up for it lol.

That won’t narrow much as there are like 5 people who fit that category some of which can’t be recruited or can be.
