i am more and more sure tir can be town. The gut reaction would be to kill him if he claims because he’s the leader of the toran army

my guess is tir is a town lock - and you should not claim if you are him

there is a possibility that someone claims someone and if you wiki it. It will say they are toran. They could have been scarlet before that and you will need to do a bit of research

there is at least 3 -5 people who scum can’t recruit I’d wager. More likely 5

Town Reads:

Mikal- I had thought he was town pretty early on, his excitement about the game and thinking he has everything including the theme solved are pretty good indicators mikal is town. Not excitement itself, but his confidence. Mikal gets confident very easy as town, I would expect that confidence from his as scum more late game. That plus him exposing whiteflame was pretty much town confirmation to me. I doubt that he was able to guess whiteflame was third party as scum here, as pie suggested is possible.

Airmax- Looks pretty good with the flip of the cop, though I don't think airmax is really the type to pull a miller gambit early as scum anyway, its entirely too risky, especially if scum numbers are based on recruitment methods, which airmax also confirmed pretty early. He's as good as confirmed in my eyes.

Kohai- Kohai is probably town. He's giving way too many hints at his character and role for no reason at this point, and I don't see any scum motivation for it, and if he was using the scum fake claim (assuming they even have one) I feel like he would have just come out with it. Also the way hes claiming, and giving multiple options for characters he could be doesn't feel scum indicative, and feels like something scum would know could backfire as he risks being mega cc'ed that way. I am pretty sure kohai is town.

This is my town pile atm, I would have probably had mharman in there for his "plea to mafia" post as well, but hes toast.

Scum read:

Pie/thoth- I am suspicious of these two for a similar reason, though they are doing it seperate from each other. I feel like they are trying to break up the town bloc. I have noticed pie questioning every town read on mikal from the get go, and thoth has been pretty hesitant to townread mikal either. Its especially weird from pie because I feel like hes the town bloc guy and wouldn't be this opposed to accepting people as town, and for thoth its weird when you look at some of the questions he's asking and I don't really see town motive behind some of his questions. These aren't major scum reads yet, just developing. I am looking at these individuals, but I do not want claims from them and think we should maybe look at them further next day phase.

This group of people has been pretty inactive. Wylted has had a few big posts, maybe I can relook at some of them, I remember getting town vibes but not enough to full town clear him. We should focus on pressuring inactives for thoughts and opinions going into dp2.

I'd consider a no lynch as well here if we are certain white flame is TP . If he is TP we can be fairly certain he is not recruited and it could be useful later.

I doubt anyone will (or should) consider this. Even if you could somehow confirm yourself using me, everyone's pretty well aware that, best case scenario, I can win with either town or scum so I'm the auto-lynch before MYLO/LYLO. Kinda pointless leaving me alive when it just means I'll be a lynch later if you don't have a good alternative.

Why do you care if he’s in your town pile? Getting more info only benefits scum

It’s less about him being in the town pile and more that 2 characters that are leaders of toran could claim and get mislynched

Oddly enough, I scumread Thoth right now too for all his back and forth. He’s flip flopped like 10 times now. As for me breaking town piles, I’d say that’s an incorrect assumption. Mikal is the one guy who if he’s scum, we’re all probably fucked. I’m trying to dot the i’s and cross the t’s before I feel fully comfortable with him. That’s why I’m asking why he townreads so and so. The devil’s in the details. It’s basically why I knew he was scum after REF flipped town in your game. Based on vibes right now, I’d say that he’s town though, same with David. Max is probably town but I always hate Millers.

Did he say he can’t be recruited? I must’ve missed that. Regardless, he needs to be lynched at some point in the game. What difference does it make if it’s now vs later. Right now we are lynching on our terms. Who tf knows what will happen tomorrow

With the TP and recruiting mechanic, I would argue that it’s 2 scum (one has probably a Yakuza type role) and then the TP.
