Obvious scum is Gwi-Ma, big bad of the movie. Less obvious (could be scum or TP) is Jinu, main love interest/male lead of the demon boy band. He’s a more substantial character than Gwi-Ma, just as if not more certain to be in this, just less clear what role he’d be since he sacrifices himself to protect Rumi in the end.

I have a strong suspicion of who Kohai is and, like Thoth said, a good reason to townread him. I’ll leave it at that. I also have good reason to townread Thoth as I said earlier. Guess we’re just generally on the same wavelength because I’m also sussing Luna just a tad. Be able to explore that more after he softs.

I’ll get into the “why” of these later. For now, though, mainly want to see more from Pie and Rex, both of whom haven’t posted much (2 posts apiece) and I’m null on both as a result. Slightly more interested in hearing from Pie first, so that’s where I’m starting:

Sorry about the inactivity. To be honest my day at work was really shit and did not feel like posting yesterday, let alone the game being on my mind, so I went to bed early.

Feeling better today. Going to catch up.

Since we are doing soft-ish claims, I am a female

Thought the movie was OK but the soundtrack was good. Didn't really impress me besides the animation

It's tough to say what balance could be in this game; we usually struggle in 7 games. I have some feelings about whoever claims Rumi.

I also don't think the theme is probably the obvious one but to be honest, not really sure. The ways you can divide the theme are really weird and I don't think make sense

There are two characters I am scum reading tf out of if they are claimed in this, if the theme I am predicting comes to fruition. I have some theories but again this is all dependant on the theme of the game

Well, there are a few potential splits that come to mind.

The three that are coming to mind (in descending order of likelihood):

1. Full demons vs. everyone else
2. Rumi and Jinu vs. everyone else
3. Animals vs. humans/demons

Especially if this game doesn't have a typical scum pair, I can't see it being the last. Also, given that Mharman just isn't all that into the theme, I don't think he went all that hard with the theme split.

Mharman said this back in May, but he tends to be pretty consistent with his modding when it comes to numbers:

"the rule i operate with is that town should be able to survive as many mislynches as there are scum. Vaarka taught me that, so I refer to it as Vaarka's Golden Rule (he may have been taught by someone else, but idk who). I taught the concept to Whiteflame and Casey btw. 9players, 2 scum. 13 players, 3 scum. 17, 4. So 5,9,13,17,etc is a sequence in those numbers halfway between numbers in a sequence, I put 0.5 scum, a tp.

So since two mislynches equals a town loss, going by mharmans logic, I am guessing there could be one scum and one third party, since this game is an in between number of that sequence.

There is the off chance that mharman didn't stick to that logic, so take this with a grain of salt, but if mharman is consistent with this then there is probably just one scum (with a fake claim) and one third party (not sure if he would have given a third party a fake claim, and he didn't clarify in the OP). So characters claims may be useless here, or at best only might expose a third party. 

I agree. 3-1-1 makes the most sense. Don’t necessarily agree with the hard fast rule, but logically it makes sense that he would follow it.

Yeah and i am kind of wondering why he would tell people to put their discords on private if there was only one scum, but it could just be because he sent out pm's via discord and people could read into timing of night action submission, etc. Idk. Hard to say one way or the other, I can see there being two scum or one and a third party though. 

This is a good point, but I think it makes it more likely there’s one scum. Cause if we pull a Mikal and analyze the activity on discord, then the game is basically over in one fell swoop
