Nothing to write home about DP1; I guess #92 of that DP was good. TBH I don’t even have to look at DP1 to know he started as town.
There’s no way scum Vader claims redirector, unless he knows town can have it this game, which he would only know if he started this game as a town redirector. Also makes sense with the setup since the mechanic central to this game is recruitment.
DP2 he’s clueless about the offer he got from Kyubey, even after everyone else. He did this by over analyzing / over thinking the contract. He does a similar thing with his read on Kohai, in his moment of poor reading comprehension. It’s plausible ignorance. He kinda just tunnels on Kohai.
I do like how he waited for Mikal to reveal action plus result before he did.
His night action justification is weird.
- Anything that happens to me may lock Mikal scum. Sure.
- If Mikal’s an investigative, it’s interference, but he doesn’t seem to pick up on this, thinking Mikal would see something happen to me when that’s not how the role works. He’s basing it off retroactive results, which seems fake.
but wait, there’s more. He doesn’t immediately clarify whether he declined or accepted the contract, until a few posts after his first on me in this DP. You’d think scum would have a decision ready on what they were going to say on this from the start, no? Which tells me he *really* did not understand the nature of the contact (if that wasn’t obvious enough already), which tells me he probably didn’t get recruited. The hesitation to say whether he accepted or not, which likely comes from not knowing just how important it is to say, is the key that his whole misunderstanding of the contact (thinking it’s just a hidden ability thing), is real.
It’s so stupid because some things look fake, but in one area, the *specific* way in which he’s clueless in ridiculously towny, even if he’s on par with Kohai in it.
