The reason this is usually read as town is because scum who do it risk a counterclaim, so while it has rewards for them it also has risks. The incredibly vague way that Ceru claimed eliminates that risk of a counterclaim, so I don't see how it warrants a town read.

More to the point, you'd almost need both questions to get a reliable claim, since you need a character that fits it as well.
Although I suppose there are several characters who could fit a Miller-like role on this particular theme, aren't there? Even the main character, perhaps.

I would say that because the show seems to put some focus on the contrast between Barry's acting life and his killer life, that could be the theme split, but my character makes me doubt that.

Theme splits are up to the game host and don't have to be obvious or even be characters who would normally be working together. This is the first whiteflame game I've played in, so I'm curious what modpsych suggests here.

I was thinking about that. I’ll have to think harder because the protagonist here is kind of a bad guy and the “villain” of the first season is Janice Moss who is after him but she’s not really a bad person she’s just counter to the protagonist. I could see Barry being scum, but I do doubt that here based on things in my role PM but I could be mistakenly understanding something.
It could be like Checyens vs everyone else or Bolivians vs Chechen’s or Barry vs actors or actors plethora of things. Will need a scum flip before I can really cook with this

It’s a couple of things. If he’s town, scum are never gonna kill him. If he’s scum, we can’t investigate him or anything. He also brings low value to the rest of the game in terms of his role. In MYLO/LYLO it’s always going to hang over you that he could be scum because they used one of their questions on this type of role. I’ve been wanting to do it for eons when I’m scum
