Welcome to Heartbreaking Chicago Bears Moments Mafia! We will start it off with some quick information about the game & some rules

  1. Mafia are given fake claims. However, they are either given fake characters or fake roles. They are not given both. They did not choose which one they got
  2. There is a theme split in this game
  3. Do not focus too much on role → character justification. There is some but in this type of game, it is not important
  4. There are no anti-claim mechanics. Just the typical precautions of claiming


Vader’s Rule and Regulations

  1. No editing or deleting posts of any kind
  2. No outside communication of mafia game (private PMs, other forum chats, other members) unless designated to do so
  3. There will 72hr day phases and, 24hr night phases unless the activity level is below 75-125 posts within this time frame. From there, 24hrs extensions will be given ONCE and ONCE only for the DP. 
  4. To contact Vader about anything, private message me or ping me in-game. You can also ping me on discord as well
  5. If I mess up a vote count, please let me know asap so I can correct it. If I mess up anything within the game, please let me know. Humans are not perfect
  6. Follow the basic CoC rules (no doxxing, attempt to doxx, etc.)
  7. Do not copy and paste PM
  8. Do not use AI to paraphrase or summarize the game

Failing to do any of these things will result in a warn or modkill

Clarifications

I have no rules when it comes to calling people using foul language. I believe freedom of speech is important to moderating a game. If someone is making attacks on you, they are just ruining their character. However, very rarely will I intervene. I will only intervene where the feud and obscenities become so excessive that it derails a game. You will not be modkilled for this, but a hard warning will be in place. I have a high tolerance for those feuds and have no problems with them, but don't be excessive to the point of ruining the game.

SOP Claim Hated


I’m Matt Eberflus. I’m hated because I made a really awful call that caused the Bears to lose and am universally hated by the Browns fan in addition to being fired mid season

Interesting to see that Mafia were given fake claims. Only thing this confirms to me is that mass-claim is a bad idea. But, we already knew that.


Maybe not a good idea to use flavour to scum hunt then? Idk. I’m just spitballing.

Hated Townie is a role. They take one less vote than majority to lynch. Per Kohai it deactivates at MYLO/LYLO

Which probably I doubt there are more than 2 Mafia. 7v2 sounds reasonable and balanced, 6v3 less so, although it’s I guess not out of the question so we could technically be at MyLo right now.

SOP is that we selectively get full claims from people we find scummy. At most 1-2 this DP. There are deviations sometimes obviously.
