Relatively familiar, I guess. I didn’t know about the Hated role, but I should be familiar with most roles that are on MU/MS/ToS.

Would Kohai claim that role as Mafia? “This is how easy it is to lynch me”. Hmm it is a rather Towny claim but I do wonder if he would intentionally sabotage himself as Mafia by forcing himself into a claim.

I guess it’s townier than not, considering he didn’t even know the other roles in the game or if Hated Townie even meshes with the rest of the roles. Tempted to town read him ‘cause it doesn’t feel like a scum would be the first to claim flavour/role.

I'm clueless as well. The only thing I know it to support the Ravens and Eagles. I'm a Baltimorean and a Philadelphian so I cheer for both teams

An unfortunate lack of sleep last night isn't helping, but I'll give some thoughts on what has been laid out so far.

Kohai's claiming Hated comes off a little townie to me. The role draws attention and, especially with Pie in this game, it's likely to be the auto-lynch in the absence of anyone better. Kohai hasn't been scum before so maybe he'd take this kind of risk, but I doubt it. From what I've gleaned of Matt Eberflus, bad calls and fan hatred are a thing.

As for Magoroth, it's great to have you with us this game! The split is almost certainly 7-2, though there could always be a third party involved. The response to the Hated role seems genuine and the character claim Ronnie O’Sullivan Cody Parkey makes sense with the theme, albeit it's a little surprising he just came out with it. Could all be NAI, but I think it's more likely he's town.

Hello world and all who inhabit it. I've been thinking of softs we could do. Here's one that I think could be okay:

1. I am a decision made by a team, either the Bears or their opponent
2. I am an event that happened to the Bears, not directly due to anyone's decision
3. I am someone or something else, like a specific player or coach

Also, at risk of mild OGI, Vader's statement in the signups thread that not having a Discord link means you are town is close to mod-confirmation that there are no third parties, not that we should have expected a third party with nine players. (What kind of evil moderator would put a third-party in a game with fewer than ten players??)
