I don’t get how I’ve been weird about my role and I’m actually getting pretty frustrated with this accusation. Do you expect me to 100% trust information I get without questioning it?

Is it just because I said the host told me “100% accurate results”? Why would I trust anything other than 100% hard clears - as in, “your target is 100% scum and this result is GUARANTEED never to fire on a Town”, or behavioural tells, when mechanical information can be deliberately MISLEADING in a closed game?

100% accurate is an odd way of phrasing it - the host confirmed Godfather and Miller would affect my results, btw. Just that I am immune to being manipulated.

Whiteflame seems townier than I gave him credit for.

He gives thoughts which are a little hard to fake as scum although not impossible. “I want to townread Thoth because I usually townread [...], but that’s bias, not a read”. Not an impossible thought to fake as scum but it’s somewhat towny

I’m not sure what all this babbling over the reliability of information from your role is about. Role information is always accurste unless the role is designed to possibly be inaccurate, which you presumably would have been told, or if there’s a mod error, or if something interfered with your results. Investigative results are game mechanics.

Analysis like that is completely NAI for whiteflame.

I very much doubt either is in this setup. It seems like it would make Sensor too weak.

Yes, I know Hated and Miller are separate roles, but to me Hated kinda thematically fits with a Miller role. You hate someone so much you think they’re scum.

Obviously, a Hated with a hidden Miller modifier is ridiculously anti-town, to the point where I don’t think that role can exist.

A dayvig really would've helped me narrow down the POE by eliminating him from suspicion. Governor does nothing. He could easily be scum straight claiming Governor, so even if he confirms his role this DP we've gotten no further.

I townread this from Wryly but also disagree with it. I don’t understand what’s bad about Thoth’s play? It might be annoying but I don’t see it as genuinely anti-town.

BY THE WAY. I was considering gambiting by fake-claiming Vigilante (I do it a lot) and saying I would shoot someone, but I’m not going to do it anymore after a townie already gambited.

Say you are scum. A correct lynch and a dayvig hit ends the fame immediately. You would fear this possibility, especially if people are sussing both of you. Therefore, you might do something wild to divert suspicion or encourage town to use only one kill, so you can at least buy yourself a night’s worth of actions in hopes they will help keep the remaining scum alive tomorrow.

Mag1c did suggest that we use my supposed dayvig kill in place of the lynch and VTNL, but he had good reason to propose that. This probably would have been a less retarded ploy on evens.

On evens, how to use your claimed day vig would’ve been more of a debate. It’s obvious on odds.

You lynch one person, then get info from night actions, instead of going for a second lynch and gambling the game in the spot. Assume mislynch to be prepared for the worst case, even if you’re confident in the lynch. If it works out it’ll be even better.
