Also worth noting that the only person in the MU game who ultra combative with me like this was Awesome, and he was scum.

It’s actually funny because I was correctly scumreading Awesome, then listened to an argument from Wurzel (“what is Awesome’s plan with all this”), then started townreading him.

So I was reminded that game that scum doesn’t need a big brained plan to mislynch someone. They just need a plan to look towny and let town destroy each other.

Which is why I’m not buying Magoroth’s “what is my plan by discrediting my own results” BS. He doesn’t need to use his claimed results to push for someone; he just needs to have them and then put up a towny smokescreen. Gonna note here that by not having good results, he remains very flexible with who he can push.

So right now, I'm split on whether to VTL Shining or Thoth. My read really hasn't changed on the former, so I'll focus on the latter. Given the Thoth's insistence that he'll use his Governor unless somehow convinced to do otherwise, I have no reason to doubt that he has the role, it's just a matter of whether I buy his decisions (both the gambit and his stated willingness to use this role regardless) as town or scum, and honestly, I'm not sure. The flip would do a lot to affect POE, as both Wryly and I have pointed out that plausible scum pairings are pretty limited at this point. It concerns me that Thoth's decision may well deprive us of valuable information regardless of who gets lynched.

I'm still good with either one atm. I can see a valid case for either, and whoever we choose, their flip would be telling. I still haven't fully eliminated Kohai, Magoroth or Mag1c from POE, but I could eliminate at least one with either flip, and if we can verify or dismiss Magoroth's information as a result, all the better.

That kind of limits us to Shining since if Thoth is telling the truth about his role he's not gonna let a lynch on himself go through anyway

I don't see the utility in confirming Thoth's role since Governor is NAI.

If we kill in [Kohai, Mag1cman, Whiteflame], scum will just shoot in the other group, btw.

By the way scum you will have to shoot in the other group because if you narrow the PoE I’m going to do everything in my power to lynch the scum, you will not be able to mislynch me or convince people to do it. I will fight tooth and nail and you will not win that fight.

It's unclear if he'll let any lynch go through at this point, but fair that he's least likely to let his own lynch go through.
