Welcome to MAGA Mafia. This game is based off of various players in the MAGA Movement, which was spearheaded by Donald J. Trump in his bid for the Presidency in 2016. He is a unique personality and his charisma and ability to connect with people is beyond anything I’ve ever seen. I genuinely hope you all enjoy the game as I’ve been wanting to do this theme for a while but wanted to wait for the right time.

There is a theme split in this game. Mafia will be given the opportunity to ask 4 questions, which I will answer truthfully. All 4 can be about characters or roles, or any combination of the two as long as they add up to 4.

I am going to do something new this time. I will answer any and all questions about hypothetical roles and their interactions with the caveat that it doesn’t mean the role exists in the game (I will only answer questions in PMs as hypotheticals). Also note that different phrasing of questions may lead to different answers based on how I understand the question. It will be easier if you be as specific as possible in your questions.

Disclaimer: Your role PM may have been created at least partially using ChatGPT just cause I’m lazy and busy, so I apologize if there are any errors (I tried my best to validate the info). I urge you all to read your PMs very carefully.

Just some quick rules:

1) No editing or deleting posts of any kinds

2) No copy/pasting your role PM (please paraphrase)

3) No cryptography of any kind

4) No communication outside of the mafia game

5) No liking/upvoting posts after you die

6) No using ChatGPT/AI to paraphrase your PM

I reserve the right to add any other rules that are commonplace that I may have forgotten to list.

If you have any questions, please PM me directly. Also, PM me if you would like a vote count at any point in time, though I will try to be proactive in posting counts. All DPs will be 72 hours and NPs 24 hours unless the NP ends with everyone submitting actions earlier.

Despite my hesitance to join, I'm excited for this one. Just know that I'll be spending a good deal of this game trying to read through and vote on the two ultrarated debates... assuming I get enough sleep to be able to focus on them one of these days. Sleep would be nice, think I got 4 hours last night.

Anyway, I saw that there was some discussion of theme splits, worth keeping in mind that these could go a number of different ways (Democrats, RINOs, "old school" Republicans).

Also, please note this from the OP:

Mafia will be given the opportunity to ask 4 questions, which I will answer truthfully. All 4 can be about characters or roles, or any combination of the two as long as they add up to 4.

Considering that Pie usually gives scum the entire DP to ask these questions, the more claims we give by the end of the DP, the easier we make it for them to pick characters and roles that they can use as fake claims.

Alright, it seems like we're going down two very different routes for softing our character claims and I think we need to pick one.

Thoth said his character mentions "stuff that happened quite a bit after the 2016 election cycle," so likely during the first Trump administration, and Kohai says he's a part of the Trump administration. I think I'd prefer the latter route, but let's keep it a little more general:

How about everyone softs the following:

A) You currently in the Trump administration

B) You were in the Trump administration (first or second term, don't have to specify)

C) You are not in the Trump administration, but are in Trump's orbit

Kohai seems to be suggesting that he falls into A. Thoth is either A or B (leaning towards the latter given that he mentioned events after 2016 and not current events). My character falls into C.
