There isn't one, assuming hes telling the truth, but yeah idk why he would lie about that, and we know there's a poisoner. Only issue is if shining finds out he was poisoned.

Anyways, what are you thoughts and reads on the game?

Mago is likely town based on the poison claim and other claims like being vanillized, and passing wylteds reaction test. Shining is role confirmed at least, but I really struggle to see why mafia would waste a role cop on someone they potentially poisoned as well as someone who has full claimed. We need to see how his poison visit comes into effect and if it clashes with magos but for now I can town read him. Wylted is confirmed losing favor and wryly confirmed the mikal visit, she could be a mafia scout though, I am very curious why she tracked mikal, but we can visit that later.

Remaining POE is Pie, banana, thoth, whiteflame, and awesome. I town read a few things from at least two of these players, but I want to put a large focus on these individuals. There is potentially a scum in the earlier pile as well if we do get into the mechanic arguments of town having 9 billion investigative and power roles, but I am not as sus of that considering the mechanization of the games favor system means not all these roles will come into play at once.

I do think Wryly revealing she’s a Tracker to out some info on who Mikal visited is kinda odd. Feels like it’s more designed to get her townread than to… well, do useful stuff. Tracker in particular would actually be a useful role this game (yes, Watcher even more so but just because I outed myself doesn’t mean everyone should)

That said the tracking result plus targeting a claimed miller does lowkey make sense so I am not full sussing her yet.

I don’t know if Pie visited me last night. I threw a fake claim in the hopes he would claim he visited me on the off-chance that he did and would claim (it’s a stretch, I know).

I guess wylted is probably Town because that is a rather crazy amount of fake claims, shenanigans etc if he is scum. Don’t see why he would do that, except literally in order to pretend to be Town, and he did this in my first game with him where he was Town.

banana I thought was scum because she town read me when everyone else was scum reading me and was a little too accurate in her description, 1) and after I claimed Framer didn’t look at anything else and just voted me. my gut read is that this is a scum who TMI’d me as Town but decided to drop it as not to get scum read for defending the scummiest claim in the game

i dont claim to be a great player or anything but in my short time playing mafia i remember it being a big deal to lie as town. like if i did that i would have 100% been lynched, no questioned asked.

I haven't even caught up with all of last DP yet, let alone this one, but for now I'm just going to drop in and say this: I played through yesterday thinking that I could use my ability last night, even though I don't think it would have been of much use. I noticed tonight that I did not have enough favor to use it. Rex confirmed that it was a mistake to tell me I could use it.

i still think she is townie, like i said last phase her play seems to reflect her play in other games ive seen in maga and in lasso, she was town in both of those. she kind of has a light hearted posting style, and i think us females tend to be a bit more anxious as scum, she doesn't feel like that, it seems like she is just having fun

I don’t really remember her meta/playstyle from my one game with her, from early gamr at least, but I feel like she had a lot more game related thoughts and reads at least later on. It feels like she’s just here to post stuff that I usually post when I’m scum. Plus the Tracker claim, which I have a strong suspicion that the information isn’t a lie (maybe she’s not a Tracker though, but the information I am tempted to 100% believe is true to her knowledge regardless of her alignment, her play reminds me of my scum play in a game I literally just got out of where I claimed my actual investigative information for days on end).

I forgot about Awesome. Kinda feels like there wouldn’t be much reason for him to switch to VTNL yesterday if he was scum. Could easily get away with voting me. Town lean.

I don’t know about this site, but I have seen scum Tracker on other sites before, yes. I guess in this setup its idea would be to detect people with favour, since they’re the only ones who can visit.

Depends on the confirmation. If its just role, probably not but it could help depending on the role. Your at least active for now, so I don't think we immediately need a claim from you.

Lunatic, can you answer the following, I still can’t quite get over how scummy it is to say that we can afford a mislynch:

You aren't qouting me or even including context here when you make broad assumptions like this. You have to realize I was scum reading you more than I was town reading you, I made an argument that you could be town, but it didn't outweigh my scum read on you for all the other reasons. That's called being open minded, despite the continuous accusations that I was being tunnel vision. I wasn't even wanting to vote you or press you for a claim when I first voted you, I only voted you because I realized we had four hours left and needed to come to a decision. And it's my sentiment that mislynching isn't the end of the world, and you seem to agree with that because you express dis-satisfaction in general when no lynches happen, you were just giving an exception to that because you were on the lynching table. In hindsight though I still don't think lynching you was the worst thing that could have happened even if you are town, because like I said, your role is useless once claimed and your unlikely to ever gain favor, you were poisoned (because like I said last day phase mafia were never gonig to let you into LYLO), we've wasted information roles on you now, as well as had to have copious amount of discussion around you allowing other potential mafia to skate by without pressure, and lastly we can afford it. Generally town gets the opportunity to have up to three mislynches, and that number just went up since mikal's role gives us two back to back day phases. So lynching you really might have actually helped us in the long run, though ideally lynching scum is always better, but I also really thought you were scum last day phase also so it seemed like a good lynch. And if I was wrong it would teach me how to interact with you in future games since this is the first time I've ever played with you. I give certain players passes for certain behaviors based on past games and experiences. People like shining though have been mislynched enough times for repeat bad behaviors that we kind of just learn how to adapt to them instead of continuously punish them for it.

I have multiple times, but sure, we can go over it again. The initial thing I noticed with you was the constant OMGUS'ing. If thats a term you are unfamiliar with it stands for "Oh My God U Suck" and its a common defensive and manipulative tactic employed by scum to intimidate people away from lynching them. The brain naturally wants to accuse other people of doing something shady when they are trying to cover up something themselves. Similar to how when someones spouse is constantly accusing their partner of cheating, a lot of times its because they themselves are trying to cover it up. The more and more you posted last day phase, the more I was starting to realize you were literally doing that to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who scum read you. I was even giving you a pass on wryly, but then I straight up asked you about that read and you said:

I was asking you questions and your answers just made you look worse, or were baffling to me. It's not the first time a town player can have common scum tells, IE Shining, kohai, greyparrot, etc, their are many people you just get accustomed to how they play, but having never played with you I am working with a clean slate here and treating you like how I would normally treat any other player exhibiting these same scum tells.
