I think the real problem is stretching a game to 12 players when its hard enough to get 9 players in a game these days. A lot of people don't really have the time and energy to be here, and only signed up out of wanting to do a favor for rex I think lol.

The theme setup sounded cool but I only agreed to it after he told me there was a backup, not that I can use the backup now :/ . And what a game to have to come in late to as the backup

Pretty sure pie is scum here. He is only really pressuring people he thinks he can secure easy mislynches on, somehow town reads all the vets, normal pie would be hella sus of the other vets. Plus the role is an outlier, strengthener is kind of a common fake claim and the slanderer is kind of a CC by kohai only khoais is more of a theft (which he strangely didn't mention, even though he was harping on wryly/shining cc'ing each other). Like even buying the excuse that pie is busy (I know he genuinely is) like his behavior still feels different even analyzing his active posts. 0 interaction between him and kohai. I think his vote on awesome was to look town last day phase, but kohai hasn't done a lot, and I feel like there would be a lot of focus on him from pie but there isn't. I am seeing a scum team here. Pie being adamant about 2 scum and a third party suggests inside information as well, I think that is a pretty wild conclusion to jump to otherwise. Lastly in post 172 of dp1 pie said if he had enough favor he could carry the game. I was thinking he had some really amazing role here that could help him break the game, but the only thing I can fathom to think of that he could be referring to is his lynchproof, which 1. Requires him to be way more active and have amazing reads to use 2. Ignores the fact that his slanderer role could actually harmfully impact the town. And like I said earlier, I think scum probably have some pretty powerful roles based on how strong the town appears to be. Meaning that asking for favor would probably be a viable strategy from scum, not only for that but because it means that favor isn't getting fed into town power roles. It just doesn't make sense to ask for favor if you know your going to be busy and not able to post like anything if you think you are going to carry town to victory with a lynchproof lol.

The favor stolen from you is what I am referring to. It was likely given to scum since no one has claimed it. Those 2 favor plus one more from supa is the only favor that is unaccounted for.

Actually it might be worth exposing who you gave your other favor to, because we have full claimed now and for some reason the other person hasn't mentioned they got the favor. It might be worth finding out why from said person.

Mago - Town. His role disability is identical to mine, and he could only be scum if 1) Mago, Shining, and Wylted are all scum; 2) Rex gave Mago a fake claim that "disables" just like mine does, which is diabolical; 3) he decided to pretend he was poisoned, which is dumb.

Shining - Town unless Empress is a scum role that Shining straight claimed, Wylted is also scum, and Rex gave Miller and Cop as fake claims (also diabolical).

Wylted - Town unless Shining is scum, though all I have on him is the Miller thing.

ILikePie5 - Unconfirmed by mechanics, claims, or night actions. Keeps pounding on the Mago and Shining drums when those two are mechanically more likely to be town.

Banana - To be honest if any character was given a role which could veto the Emperor I would've expected it to be the Empress Dowager, but online info says Consort Rong was an aloof princess who was kind of a nexus of drama because the Emperor simped for her, so maybe I could see it. Eh, justification analysis is useless with full fake claims anyway. Banana does have two powers that are confirmable, but they have yet to be demonstrated. Null.

Kohai/awesome5000 - His role is supported by whiteflame's confirmation that he received 1 favor NP1. This is not alignment confirming imo.

Lunatic - Lunatic has done the most to scumhunt out of anyone in the game so far, I would say, so if he turns out to be scum I'm gonna go full Obi-Wan in the volcano screaming you were the chosen one. Mechanically there's nothing but his private chat with whtieflame, but I townread him.

Pie may be my top scumread right now. I know he's been slammed at work but his behavior just feels more like scum trying to play while busy than town trying to play while busy

A major antagonist and poisoner in the series appears to be Consort Wei Yanwan Ling, who is unclaimed as of now and I assume is scum

Largely agree with this, though I don't buy Wryly as scum, so we're talking you, Awesome/Kohai and Banana at this point.

Why? The only thing going for her is the mechanical aspect of her role.

A little wary of the Strengthener given that it wouldn't be a first for scum to use it as an easy fake claim, but with a Rolestopper, Redirector and RB already flipped, I can at least see why there might be a Strengthener.

The Lynchproof would at least be confirmable if you could use it and I can't imagine REF giving that to scum, though I'm guessing you don't have access to it now.

Exactly, and I’m super close. I can literally confirm myself with a little more favor. It’s the closest thing to mod confirmed town in the game

The Siren role does ping me as odd, but I don't think Banana just grabbed a role designed for a TP and imposed a role tailor-made to this game over it to retain the name. The role looks scummy to me mainly because I don't see any town utility, but it's not because it's called "Siren."

Thats my point though. All the roles are either custom roles that you can’t find anywhere or are normal roles. This one sticks out in the sense that the role is out there, but description is different. If REF created all these names for the custom roles, the way she’s describing it is a custom role too, so why would he give a name that has something attached to it?

Balance. 8-3 is scumsided. 8-2-1 is more balanced. Ofc that’s how I would design the game and I’m not REF.

If you are basing this off of role name, that's not a super convincing argument, because im pretty sure a mason recruiter isn't a "Neighborizer". Not sure where Rex finds the names for his role pm's but they are definitely not standard. Also shining and wryly both have two different names for the same passive that lets them identify roles who visit them (perceptive, and careful). I have never even heard of a slanderer or benefactor or adjudicator either. Magoroths vengeful is basically just a hunter. 

If you look at the difference websites for roles Neighborizer is how the role is working. Shining and Wryly have different names, but they’re on MS and the descriptions match. Even if you look at Vengeful, it matches the description. It could obviously be fake claims, but it matches up.

The ONLY roles that you can’t find anywhere are the custom roles like Slanderer and Benefactor because they’re tied to favor. REF had to have made those up. “Siren” is also a custom role but it’s on MU. Why would he use a name that’s already taken to describe a custom role.

I just don’t love Bananas claim because it’s a mechanically weird role where you are role blocking the only confirmed town player in the game by vetoing decisions. Also completely outted that I have different roles as well that I can use so…yeah don’t love that. 

Exactly, what’s the utility here. You would just waive every night. Why give that role to a townie?
